As a first year student you are also welcome to be a part of the Freshmen in ALPFA Committee. The Freshmen in ALPFA committee is dedicated to helping you ease your transition into college by providing you with resources, activities, and in direct contact with officers so that you can get advice on anything you need such as finding hot spots in Austin to knowing which professors to take. 

There will also be various social events throughout the year to build community between the officers and our freshmen.  Some activities that we've participated in this year are the Trail of Lights and Ice Skating.  We know that sometimes big colleges can be a little overwhelming, that's why we are here to help make the change as smooth as possible.
